New York, New York – February 13, 2017 – Meister Seelig & Fein PLLC today announced that Jonathan A. Roberts has joined the firm as a Partner, expanding the firm’s litigation practice in the areas of white collar defense, government investigations, and regulatory enforcement.
Roberts, who comes to the firm from Ernst & Young, has 20 years of experience as an SEC enforcement lawyer, in-house counsel, and in private practice. His practice spans a wide range of litigation and regulatory matters, including government investigations, internal investigations, and commercial litigation. Roberts’ broad experience includes successfully handling governmental investigations before
the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and other federal and state regulators.
Prior to joining MSF, Roberts was Senior Global Legal Counsel at Ernst & Young, handling litigation and regulatory matters. He also spent several years in London at EY Global’s headquarters, where he managed regulatory enforcement matters for EY Global, and assisted EY member firms in responding to enforcement and litigation matters, particularly involving U.S. regulators. Prior to joining EY, Roberts was Senior Counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement in New York, where he handled investigations and litigation related to financial fraud, market manipulation and insider trading.
