Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully as they may have changed since your last visit.  Your use of the Website indicates your acceptance of these Terms.  If you do not accept these Terms or the terms of our Privacy Policy, then do not use the Website.

No Legal Services

The Website is for general information only.  The information is provided without any knowledge as to your specific circumstances.  Relevant laws may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and there may be omissions or inaccuracies in the information contained on the Website.  The Website should not be relied upon or used as a substitute for consultation with appropriate professional advisors in the relevant jurisdiction.  MSF expressly disclaims liability with respect to actions taken or not taken based on the contents of the Website.

The Website is not intended to provide and should not be construed as professional advice, legal or otherwise, for any purpose.  The Website is not intended to be and should not be construed as a communication or solicitation concerning the availability for professional employment of the firm.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Neither (1) the presentation of information on the Website or the receipt of it, or the sending of an electronic communication, inquiry or any other information through the Website, nor (2) the sending e-mail or other correspondence to MSF or any of its attorneys, will create an attorney-client relationship.

If you are not currently a client of MSF, your email or other correspondence will not be privileged and may be disclosed to other persons.  Unless and until MSF has formally established an attorney-client relationship, as evidenced by a signed engagement agreement, please do not send any confidential information or any information that you would expect to be maintained in confidence.

If you communicate with us by e-mail in connection with a matter for which we already represent you, you should note that the security of Internet e-mail is uncertain.  By sending sensitive or confidential email messages that are not encrypted, you accept the risks of such uncertainty and the possibility that your communications may not be confidential.

The provision of unsolicited information to us by you, even in a good faith effort to retain us, will not preclude us from representing another client directly adverse to you, and using that information against you.

Electronic Communications Not Confidential

Electronic communications through the Website are not secure and no such communication will be treated as confidential.  Accordingly, please do not send us any information that you would want us to treat as confidential unless you receive a written engagement letter from us indicating that we are agreeing to represent you.

Payment Processing

For your convenience, MSF offers a payment feature through the Website allowing you to make payments of invoices through a secure Third-Party Website (as defined below).  We do not want you to send us your credit card, bank account information, or wire instructions by e-mail or other means except where requested as part of the invoice payment process.  Please review the terms of use and privacy policies of the third-party payment processor prior to providing Personal Information to them.

The Website contains links to other websites that are owned or operated by third-parties and may be of interest to our Users (collectively, “Third-Party Websites”).  Third-Party Websites operate independently from the Website and as such are subject to different terms of use and privacy policies that govern use of your Personal Information (as defined in our Privacy Policy) by these Third-Party Websites.  When you use a link to go from our Website to a Third-Party Website, these Terms and our Privacy Policy are no longer in effect.  MSF does not investigate or monitor Third-Party Websites, and therefore is not responsible or liable for the same.  We encourage users to read and consider the terms of use and privacy policies of these Third-Party Websites before using them.
