Sam Cereste joined MSF in 2018 as a partner in the firm’s Taxation & Estates Group. Mr. Cereste focuses on sophisticated estate planning as well as estate and trust administration. He advises clients on implementing and structuring estate planning strategies which maximize tax planning opportunities (estate tax, gift tax, GST tax and income tax) while meeting the goals and needs of the client, with a focus on preserving wealth for subsequent generations of families.
Mr. Cereste’s experience extends to fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust administration matters, including the probate process, accountings and beneficiary/fiduciary disputes. He also provides advice with respect to tax reporting matters including the preparation of gift tax returns, estate tax returns, GST tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns.
