Sara J. Triplett is a member of MSF’s Commercial Litigation and White Collar & Government Investigations Groups.  Ms. Triplett’s practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation, including actions involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and unfair trade practices, business torts, class action claims, securities litigation, as well as government investigations and white collar defense.

In addition to regularly providing U.S. and foreign clients with strategic and business counsel in commercial disputes, Ms. Triplett has extensive federal and state courtroom experience.

Managed the defense of all New York litigation—both state and federal—for Fortune 500 client, including individual supervision and day-to-day handling of initial investigation, motion practice, discovery, and trial planning

Second-chaired multimillion dollar securities bench trial, resulting in a complete dismissal of client prior to judgment

National Coordinating Counsel defending over 120 federal multidistrict litigation mass tort cases for Fortune 1000 client with individual supervision of initial investigation, motion practice, discovery, and trial planning

Negotiated dismissals with plaintiffs’ counsel in over 20 multidistrict high-profile mass tort cases, resulting in significant decrease in potential exposure for client and national press coverage

Lead attorney taking and defending depositions across the country on high-profile mass torts matter

Represented French technology company in its international intellectual property contracts, including counseling client as to contractual language best served to protect its interests

Obtained dismissal, with prejudice, of high-profile mass tort bellwether suit due to strategic deposition and discovery handling

Obtained dismissal, with prejudice, of two separate federal mass torts actions on judicial estoppel grounds
