Sal Meli is a Partner in MSF’s Real Estate Group. With over twenty years of experience in the Real Estate industry, Mr. Meli’s practice includes all aspects of complex real estate transactions including the sale, acquisition, ground leasing, construction and financing of multi-family, retail, office and mixed-use properties. He also prepares condominium and cooperative offering plans and “no action” letters and guides developers through the regulatory process for submitting their properties to a cooperative or condominium ownership regime. Mr. Meli has experience negotiating sophisticated floor area development rights, air rights, cantilever easement agreements and license agreements. He is a seasoned negotiator of office, retail, and industrial leases for both landlords and tenants.
Sal Meli began his career as a litigator representing clients in complex real estate related disputes. He uses his vast litigation experience as an invaluable tool when guiding clients through their sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
