Robert W. Freiman has practiced in the field of estates and trusts since his admission to the bar in 1970, representing a broad spectrum of clients from many walks of life with diverse kinds of assets, including closely held businesses and private and commercial real estate holdings.

He has extensive experience in estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts of all sizes and types, and his practice includes the creation of wills, trusts and other estate planning instruments, gift, estate and generation-skipping taxation, business succession, the legal aspects of health care and disability, the use of insurance and charitable giving. Mr. Freiman represents clients in proceedings in the Surrogate’s Court and before the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.
