Cassidy Mara is an employment associate in the New York office of Meister Seelig & Fein. Cassidy works with employers of all sizes, from multinational corporations to small family businesses, on a range of employment issues at all stages of the employee relationship. She assists employers as they adopt, implement, and revise employment policies; guides employers through the onboarding and employee exit processes; and provides counseling regarding wage and hour laws, state and federal leave, anti-discrimination laws, and other employment related issues. She drafts offer letters, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, employee handbooks, termination letters, settlement agreements, and releases. Cassidy also conducts training for employees on workplace conduct and harassment, and litigates employment matters.

Before joining MSF in 2019, Cassidy consulted for Thomson Reuters, a multinational mass media and information company in an in-house employment counsel role providing legal support to human resources and compliance advice focused on employment issues. Prior to her consulting assignment, Cassidy started her career as an associate at McCarter & English LLP in the Labor & Employment practice where she provided counsel to employers concerning employment matters, represented employers against harassment and discrimination claims filed with federal and state courts and administrative agencies, drafted employment documents, and represented clients in labor disputes before the department of labor.
