April Fool’s Day – New York State and New York City Sexual Harassment Training requirements is NO JOKE!

April Fools’ Day may be approaching, but compliance with the New York State and New York City Sexual Harassment Training requirements is no joke! New York State’s sexual harassment training requirement became effective in October 2018 and requires employers with one or more employees to have implemented a sexual harassment policy and adopt a complaint form and to train employees by no later than October 2019. New York City’s law becomes effective in April 2019 and requires sexual harassment training for employers with greater than 15 employees.
