Racquel Crespi Weintraub is Counsel at MSF and practices employment law. Ms. Weintraub handles litigation involving a wide range of employment issues and provides employment related legal advice to clients. Ms. Weintraub represents clients in litigations, arbitrations and mediations involving all aspects of employment law, including wage and hour issues, discrimination and contract claims. Ms. Weintraub regularly defends clients in class and collective wage and hour litigations and also represents clients in proceedings before the Department of Labor. She represents clients in a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on the hospitality industry. In addition, Ms. Weintraub practices in the areas of general commercial litigation and insurance litigation, including coverage issues.

Before joining MSF in 2002, Mr. Weintraub represented doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice actions and also defended physicians before the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
Represented hospitality industry client in a wage and hour litigation under federal and state law and defeated plaintiffs’ motion for conditional certification.
Represented hospitality industry client sued in a state court action, wherein after motion practice the plaintiff consented to proceed in arbitration.
Obtained a favorable settlement of the wage and hour claims of 16 plaintiffs on behalf of hospitality industry client.
