Stuart I. Rich practices in the areas of commercial real estate, real estate bankruptcy and creditor's rights and corporate law. He represents owner-developers, lenders, and private investors in a variety of sophisticated real estate transactions. His experience includes acquisition and sales of individual properties and portfolios around the country, complex financings from both the borrower and lender sides of the transactions, joint ventures, leasing of commercial and retail space for both landlords and tenants, and workouts on troubled properties, loans and businesses. He represents several special situation bridge lenders in financing troubled or distressed transactions. He counsels clients on workouts and restructurings of transactions and loans.

He represents small and medium sized privately owned businesses with a particular specialty in restaurateurs, chefs and investors in restaurants, fashion industry entrepreneurs, and the diamond, gem, and jewelry industries. He regularly counsel clients with respect to bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy proceedings and non-bankruptcy protections. He graduated from Temple University (B.A. 1988) and Hofstra University (J.D. 1991).
