Jeff Kimmel is an experienced employment lawyer and litigator. His practice includes advising businesses, as well as executives, on various employment-related legal matters.

Mr. Kimmel defends businesses against employment claims based on allegations of violations of wage and hour laws and anti-discrimination laws. He also represents companies against former employees to protect them from unlawful disclosure of confidential information and unlawful solicitation of customers and clients.

Mr. Kimmel’s corporate clients span multiple industries, including technology, entertainment, insurance and financial. They consist of small, closely held, companies, as well as publicly traded corporations with thousands of employees. He has a reputation for tough and aggressive, yet practical representation of his clients. Mr. Kimmel’s corporate clients frequently contact him for advice on day-to-day human resources and legal compliance issues.

Additionally, Mr. Kimmel has represented many high level executives in connection with the negotiation of their employment contracts and compensation packages. Recent clients include the CFO of a publicly traded real estate business, the CEO of a financial software company, the executive management team of a NASDAQ owned company, the CEO of a major global asset tracking company, the President of a New York based sports cable network, top editorial and creative executives in the publishing industry, the upper level management team for an information technology security company, various recording industry executives and many other high level executives.

Mr. Kimmel received his law degree from New York Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1995. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and is admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Kimmel resides in Armonk, New York with his wife, Liat, son, Ethan, and daughter, Sophia.
