Mr. Hausman joined Meister Seelig & Fein LLP in June of 1998 and became a partner at the Firm in January of 2005. His areas of practice is primary real estate law and corporate law. In addition, a significant portion of Mr. Hausman's practice is in the quasi transactional and quasi litigation areas associated with work-outs and other restructurings. His real estate experience specializes in transactional work including commercial lending, the representation of all parties to acquisition, sale and financing transactions, and commercial leasing. His corporate law experience includes entertainment law, asset and stock purchase transactions and the general representation of closely held businesses. Mr. Hausman graduated from Trinity College in 1992 and from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1995. Mr. Hausman resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with his wife, Liz, daughter Miranda, and son Max.
