Cassandra Ching Cassandra Ching is presently practicing in the corporate, commercial and intellectual property areas, handling general business matters and transactions, including contracts, entity formation, shareholder and operating agreements, confidentiality and non-competition agreements, representation of individuals and businesses on employment termination, licensing, endorsements and sponsorships, spokesperson arrangements, and counseling on trademark, copyright and domain name disputes. Ms. Ching works with private and public companies, including manufacturers, designers, retailers, distributors, software developers and consultants, as well as celebrities and fashion models. Ms. Ching brings to the firm multi-national language and cultural bases, having also lived in Hong Kong and Venezuela. She is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, as well as Spanish, both written and spoken. Ms. Ching was a contributing author to the Intellectual Property Law in the United States Chapter of the "International Intellectual Property Law Basics: A Consulegis Handbook," published in the Fall of 2008, which provides a country by country look at copyright, trademark and patent laws around the world. Ms. Ching is licensed to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey. She is currently a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, American Bar Association, Asian American Bar Association of New York and the Hong Kong Association of New York. Ms. Ching graduated Wake Forest University School of Law in 2006. At Wake Forest, she was the Vice-President of the International Law Society, and a member of the American Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta and Women in Law. Ms. Ching obtained her undergraduate degree from Duke University in 2003, Dean's List, with a B.A. in History, and a double Minor in Economics and Spanish. Contact: |
