Jesse Young is a Partner in the Real Estate Group at MSF. Mr. Young advises purchasers, sellers, owners, investors and lenders on a broad array of sophisticated commercial real estate matters, including single asset and portfolio acquisitions and sales, joint ventures and mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions related to all types of commercial properties.

In addition, Mr. Young regularly prepares and negotiates retail and office leases for national and regional landlords, tenants and corporate clients in connection with commercial leasing transactions throughout the United States. Mr. Young also represents financial institutions in connection with lending, debt restructuring, loan workout and distressed property transactions.

Prior Experience

Before joining MSF in 2013, Mr. Young was an Associate in the Commercial Real Estate Department of Westerman Ball Ederer Miller & Sharfstein LLP.

Representative Matters

Represented the owner in the $135,000,000 refinance of a hotel in New York, New York.

Represented a national retail chain tenant in the negotiation of numerous store leases in New York City and through the Northeast.

 

Represented the seller in the $86,000,000 sale of a shopping center/entertainment complex in Broward County, Florida.

Represented the lender in the origination of the mortgage and mezzanine loans for the acquisition and construction of a Highline development site in New York, New York.

Represented the purchaser in the acquisition of a 230 unit apartment complex in Atlanta, Georgia, involving a joint-venture and the assumption of an existing Freddie Mac Loan.

Representation of multiple owners on the refinancing of office, multi-family and mixed-use properties in New York, New York.

Representation of a bridge lender in the origination of multiple mortgage, construction and mezzanine loans in New York and eight other states.

Represented a co-owner in the division of a portfolio of multi-family properties in New York City to resolve a partnership dispute.

Representation of several landlords in the leasing of retail and office spaces in buildings throughout New York City.
