Mr. Davis has litigated many high profile wage and hour collective and class action lawsuits under both federal and state law in Federal District Court. Mr. Davis has substantial experience representing clients with regard to claims of discrimination, misclassification, breach of contract and federal and state statutory violations. His practice includes reviewing employment policies and practices to confirm compliance with applicable law. Mr. Davis reviews, negotiates and litigates severance packages and separation agreements, non-disclosure agreements, restrictive covenants, covenants not to compete, non-solicitation agreements and non-disclosure agreements. Mr. Davis also frequently represents institutional clients in various administrative proceedings. Mr. Davis has represented clients large and small in a diverse number of industries including entertainment, hotels, restaurants, catering, construction and the healthcare field. Mr. Davis has recently represented high level executives as well as multi-state companies.
Mr. Davis has been named a New York Metro Super Lawyer Rising Star the last three consecutive years.
He is a graduate of Brandeis University having received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature, magna cum laude, with honors. In 2006 Mr. Davis earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law where he competed in interschool Moot Court competitions and was a member of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Davis is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
Mr. Davis lives in Riverdale, the Bronx, with his wife and three children.
