Robert S. Portegello joined Meister Seelig & Fein LLP in 2008 as Counsel with extensive experience in the areas of commercial and residential real estate and estate planning and administration. His real estate experience includes representation of owners, developers and investors as well as lending institutions in matters ranging from simple residential purchases to complex sales of commercial property. His estate experience includes all aspects of estate planning and administration.
In 1981, Mr. Portegello earned a B.S. degree from St. John's University and in 1984 he was named Valedictorian of the graduating class from Touro College School of Law, where he received his J.D. cum laude and was Research Editor of Touro Law Review. He was a partner at Rosenbloom & Hofflich before starting his own firm and later becoming a sole practitioner. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York, New Jersey and Florida and in Federal Court, Southern District of New York.
