Ms. Weintraub’s practice includes the defense of employers in both individual and class and collective action litigation, with a focus on the defense against allegations of wage and hour violations. She also is experienced in handling general employment law issues. Ms. Weintraub also practices in the areas of general commercial litigation, including breach of contract claims and real estate disputes, and insurance litigation, including coverage issues. Ms. Weintraub’s comprehensive knowledge of the law enables her to effectively assist clients and she regularly represents clients in both federal and state courts.
Prior to becoming associated with Meister Seelig & Fein LLP, she represented physicians, hospitals and other health care providers and has experience in the area of health care law. Ms. Weintraub is admitted to practice in the New York and New Jersey state courts and the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Weintraub served as the Articles and Comments Editor for the University of Miami Entertainment and Sports Law Review.
